Today the “Cut the World” video (Antony and the Johnsons) will screen at the Southbank Centre in London, as part of  the Meltdown Festival. What I’m listening these days - Antony and the Johnsons and Danish National Chamber Orchestra! Sublime, powerful, beautiful! Antony and the Johnsons: ‘Cut The World’ is a collection of live symphonic performances of songs from the band’s 4 full length albums. Recorded in Copenhagen, DK with The Danish National Chamber Orchestra, it features arrangements by Nico Muhly, Rob Moose, Maxim Moston and Antony. Cut the World is originally composed for Robert Wilson’s play “The Life and Death of Marina Abramović,” in video starring Willem Dafoe, Marina Abramović, and Carice van Houten.

The “Cut the World” video will screen on August 11 at the Southbank Centre in London, as part of  the Meltdown Festival curated by Antony Hegarty. It will proceed a screening of the film “Turning”, a collaboration between Antony and video artist Charles Atlas.
